“Hiding”
Original poem by: Axton N.O. Mitchell

I am hiding in the halls,
creeping from wall to wall
I do not know what it is I fear…
Yet.

I somehow, can tell I am moments
from being attacked.
The hairs are creeping up upon
my neck and back.
This surely cannot be
because of you.
